§ 101-2. Purpose.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York to protect and promote the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community and to ensure that proposed uses in the Town of Greenport meet design, function and layout criteria that will result in attractive and safe development of land in the Town.
